One of my absolute favorite spots in Phoenix and the happy hour here is hands down one of the best in the city ,and I don’t say that lightly. We sat down, ordered the raw bar tower and I don’t think either of us said a word for a solid five minutes. Oysters, scallops on the half shell, chilled shrimp , all beautifully fresh and presented on ice with four dipping sauces. The Baja shrimp ceviche with tostadas was bright, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The cocktails were stunning — craft level all the way with gorgeous presentation to match. Here’s the kicker , our pre-discount bill was $155 and we walked out paying $90. Happy hour discounts stacked on oysters, shrimp, cocktails and more. That is unmatched value for the quality you’re getting at a $50-100 restaurant. The vibe is stylish without being stuffy, the service was great and the raw bar program is legitimately world class. If you’re in Phoenix and you haven’t done happy hour at Buck & Rider yet — that’s your homework this week. 🦞🍹

Tanner was the best! So charming and we loved every single one of his recommendations. Hope to have him as our server again in the future. The Playa De Pina was refreshing and yummy. The Baja shrimp ceviche was delicious! The Hamachi crudo just melts in your mouth... the sauce was a perfect match. The Blue crab cakes were amazing, but the broccolini was just ok. I was skeptical of the Gluten Free Chocolate cake but it was TO DIE FOR. Neither of us are GF, but would 100% order that again!

Really nice place. It was packed at 5pm. We had reservations at 5:15, table was ready at 5:25. We sat outside. The Food came out quickly. We started with “Tuna crispy rice” it looked amazing, but didn’t care for it. It was fun to have a large selection of different oysters. We had two dozen, out of the six different kinds, we absolutely loved two of them. The six piece Nigiri, also good. The clam Chowder soup was perfect. Had no problem finding a clam in every spoon full. The only thing I wish they had, was more beer options. At a minimum add a Lager option. We will be back to try more items on the menu.

Had a great experience at Buck & Rider. Definitely some of the best oysters I’ve had in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Everything tasted super fresh and the drinks were really good as well. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts though. It has a really chill, elevated vibe that works well for groups, dinner with friends, or even a casual date night. The indoor/outdoor feel makes it especially nice during good weather. Overall just a really solid spot if you’re looking for fresh seafood, good cocktails, and a relaxed but still upscale atmosphere.

Amazing ambiance and elevated foods and drinks. Love this place! Food selection was expansive and everything we had was fresh and flavorful. Service was solid and the space was amazing. 10/10 recommend!
