Have eaten at a few Duke’s, as my girlfriend is a fan. Everything is a quality string ingredient option, just pricey. In this case though the location makes it worth it since it is right in the water. Waves crashing near the windows. Had fish tacos which are solid. Went a different direction this time with the chicken and ribs, as expected the ribs were not the best at an upscale beach restaurant. But they were decent. Just not their thing. Salads were good but overpriced.

Excellent location. Beautiful ocean side views and amazing service. The food was average and portions were smaller then expected. We were there for lunch. The seafood chowder was great but they do not have any bread. The salad were fresh but smaller than expected. The drinks were reasonable. We sat next to the windows and enjoyed the ocean breeze with the windows open. Only option is to valet park, but no charge for handicap. The bathrooms were clean. We made reservations. Our waitress had been there 18 years and excellent. The ice cream pie was a highlight of our meal.

Very excited to dine at Duke Malibu again after a long wait since the fire damage. It’s as friendly and beautiful as ever! We were a party of five and did a walk in on a Saturday afternoon at around 5:00. We were seated within 15 minutes. The bare foot cafe side would be lighter as I was told but we preferred the table and view from the restaurant side. And really it took half of the wait time that was given to us. Food was great! We definitely enjoyed our time there. A little feed back on the kids meal, could it be a bit larger in size? Or maybe allow two smaller sides versus just 1 with the price? Will definitely be back for more food and relaxing time!

What a view! We showed up just after noon without a reservation on a Friday and were seated in less than 5 minutes. We ordered the coconut shrimp, seared ahi bowl, and fish tacos. The food would have been delicious on it's own, but the sauces added a bright burst of flavor. Service was efficient, friendly, and attentive. I would definitely sit in Matt A's section again.

Duke is now open again after the fires. It's only been 3 weeks so I decided to give them some love by visiting this iconic resturant. Parking: valet is $10 after 4pm on weekdays (I believe $12 all day on the weekend) but there's parking along PCH. Reservations: Use open table vs calling. When you call, they told us that there were no tables avaliable. This is due to short serving staff (for now). Last seating is 6:45pm, but the kitchen closes at 8pm. Food: The mac hummus was so good, it was flavorful and creamy. It was beautifully presented with radish, cucumbers and carrots. It's my first time having it and it'll be ordering it again. My friend ordered the Rocket Salad and enjoyed it very much. Mains: I got the macadamia and herb fresh fish, which was Mahi for the evening we went. I love capers but capers can be a bit salty, so might want to request ez capers or in the side. The fish was fresh and flakey. It was delicious. It comes with broccolini and jasmine rice but I got the mac salad instead. The mac salad was ok, it wasn't as bold as the Hawaiian mac salad that I was used to, but decent. Drink: I ordered the Lavender Yuzu Lemonade. I really thought it would be purple for the Lavender syrup but it wasn't. Regardless of the color, it was refreshing and not too strong. Service: we had Matthew who was absolutely amazing and attentive. My friend had requested some modifications and a lot of paper napkins and he was chill and funny about it. He even apologized for the quality of the napkins. It was probably a joke, but he had us laughing every time he stopped by the table. Over all service was 5/5.
