Went to SumoMaya for the first day of their new brunch menu and I highly recommend going. For $50 per person you get unlimited shared plates and shared desserts. There is also an option to add on shared sips like margaritas and mimosas and more. The restaurant’s atmosphere was elevated casual and had a DJ playing great music during brunch. We had a reservation and we’re seated immediately. We ordered four shareable plates and they came out perfectly timed. The food is absolutely delicious and our server was very attentive without being overbearing. I would recommend trying the chicken flautas, huevos rancheros, Pork Al Pastor Pad Thai, and the green tea French toast. They were all absolutely delicious. For dessert we had the mini churros, which were very good also. This is definitely a new favorite brunch spot. It’s served every Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM and has many vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options on the menu. The brunch is definitely worth the price. Come hungry and you won’t be disappointed. I plan to go back so I can try their dinner menu as well.

SumoMaya is a very nice place with a great atmosphere. I enjoyed the ambiance and the music, and overall it definitely has the feel of a place you’d go for a nice evening out. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the setting for me. I started with the rainbow ceviche. The fish itself was good, but the lemon flavor in the sauce was so strong that it overwhelmed everything else. For my entrée, I ordered the paella. When I think of paella, I envision a traditional preparation with saffron, well-developed flavors, and that wonderful layer of socarrat on the bottom. This was definitely not that. The dish was extremely soupy—honestly, “seafood rice soup with sausage” would have been a more accurate description. Once again, lemon dominated the flavor profile, while the dried sausage was also quite overpowering. The seafood and rice never really had a chance to shine. I understand SumoMaya puts its own spin on dishes, and I wasn’t necessarily expecting a strictly traditional Spanish paella. But when you go to a restaurant for a nice meal, especially at this price point, you expect the flavors and execution to match the atmosphere. For me, this particular dish missed the mark. I liked the restaurant itself and would be willing to return and try something different, but I definitely would not order the paella again.

Absolutely loved this place. The food and service were both amazing from start to finish. The rainbow ceviche and pomegranate guacamole were second to none — fresh, flavorful, and truly memorable. The vibe and ambience were unbelievable, with such a cool and unique atmosphere. There’s even a beautiful tree in the middle of the restaurant, which really adds to the experience. Great food, great service, great energy. I will definitely be back.

Super fun time we had here , $85 brunch that includes bottomless drinks -it’s kind of like an all you can eat cause you could order anything on the menu but you have a 2hr dinning limit! The only thing we didn’t like from here was the katsu Sando , everything else were bangers.

I went here with my girlfriends and the food, service and atmosphere was fabulous. I would highly recommend the octopus aguchille as it was a table favourite! Everything else was flavourful and had quality ingredients. I am very allergic to nuts and the staff were very good about my allergy.
