Nestled inside the Whizin Market Square, Sunrose California Eatery was the perfect brunch destination for us in Agoura Hills. Stepping inside feels like a breath of fresh air; the light-filled, airy aesthetic features stylish wicker chairs, gorgeous floral accents, and a vibrant patio that effortlessly captures a relaxed SoCal vibe. ​What truly set Sunrose apart for us, however, was its exceptional hospitality. Despite the weekend crowd, the staff remained incredibly warm, attentive, and deeply welcoming. ​Their menu elevates traditional morning staples with creative coastal twists. If you have a sweet tooth, the fluffy brioche French toast and Dutch baby pancakes are absolute standouts. For savory cravings, I enjoyed their signature breakfast sandwich. My wife raved about their tasty egg white omelet. The table next to us enjoyed their egg salad toast and crispy spicy tuna. Pair your meal with an expertly crafted latte. The portions were generous enough to share, though you will likely want to keep every bite to yourself. Whether you are catching up with friends or looking to slow down on a Sunday morning, Sunrose delivers an unforgettable, curated dining experience that is well worth the visit.

Love this place! We sat at the bar and met Emily the bartender. She gave us great service and awesome food recommendations. I tried the sandwich and my husband got the BAB. Both were delicious and the crispy potatoes are a must! We are definitely coming back.

I went to Sunrose California Eatery for brunch and the staff were really warm and welcoming. The food was delicious! The only small hiccup was that after ordering another coffee, we were asked a few times if we needed anything else while we were still drinking it. It felt like they might have wanted to give our table to someone else, which made it a bit tricky to fully enjoy the coffee. Not a big deal, but I wish they hadn’t rushed us 😂. Overall, a lovely place and I’d definitely come back!

The facility was clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. The owner is a very nice lady who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I honestly don’t know where to begin. The service was so welcoming. The environment was clean and spacious. Almost like a modern tulum vibe. You aren’t sitting on top of the next table like most restaurants. We were greeted by the owner, Mark. He was a pleasure. Our server Bianca was so knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. Amazing 10/10 service. The food was 10/10. We ordered the sunrose salad, crudo (yellowtail), ricotta gnocchi, Thai chicken pasta and the smash burger with 2 drinks. Every single dish was delicious but the smash burger left our mouths watering. Sunrose will be our new go to place to eat. Definitely going to try the brunch next.
