Heather and Alex at Zwaag are the best! Heather is so on top of it in terms of scheduling and returning calls - she is super nice and incredibly efficient. And Alex is so thorough and knowledgeable! Helped guide me through a process I’m not familiar with and he did it with such kindness. Zwaag is friendly, reliable, honest, and professional. Highly recommended!

We had not had a termite inspection since we moved here in 1998. I asked a local neighbor who is a long time realtor about a trusted company. She recommended Zwaag. What a great experience we had with this company! Office staff always friendly, helpful & patient when I called with questions. Bill Pederson was the excellent home inspector who performed a very thorough check for signs of termite damage or other damage to wood. He found some problem areas & we received the itemized, comprehensive report the next day. No termites! Great news. Some water damage to the wood in a few places. The Zwaag crew that did the work for us are some of the most conscientious, professional & kind men I have met. They explained exactly what they would do, made sure they answered any questions, & were friendly as well. (My personal preference; I have no doubt they would stay strictly "business" with any customer who prefers that). Nick, José & Davíd were great!! José noticed a big problem with the wood on part of the outside of our old sun room. I had given up on getting the deteriorating wood removed & replaced. Oh, my goodness! José & his partner did an amazing job! I speak highly enough of Zwaag.

Hired Zwaag to do wood repair and tenting my home. I'd give the wood repair 4 stars as they did a good job. Had to have them re-do a section and got some push back from the guy doing the work but ultimately, the job got done. It went down hill from there as Zwaag sub contracted out the termite treatment. Whoever they used, did a shoddy job. I'd give them 1 star. The most disappointing part of the entire job was when I called to complain about the termite company, Zwaag just passed the buck to the termite contractors. I did not contract with the termite company nor pay them. I contracted with Zwaag. You'd think they would care about the entire job but they did not. I would not recommend Zwaag to do any termite treatment since they aren't the ones doing the work. If you'd like some wood repair done, they would be fine.

I highly recommend Bill Peterson and Zwaag Termite Control. During my many years of real estate experience I was exposed to many termite companies. It is difficult to determine the honest from the dishonest ones as you are at their mercy regarding their findings. I have seen two companies give conflicting reports for the same house within a week of each other. I found that having the right inspector was more important than the company they worked for. I recently had to track down Bill Peterson who has established himself over many years as an honest and reliable person to do business with. Bill is now working with Zwaag Termite Control. I was very pleased with his recent inspection and all my contacts with Zwaag have been very positive and professional.
